About
I am a plein air and studio artist painting in oil who is inspired by light. After completing an Art Diploma and subsequently attending many short courses, e.g. Central Saint Martin’s College, The Norfolk Painting School and several 3 day workshops with contemporary artists I admire I embarked on my painting career. I am an Academician of the South West Academy of Fine and Applied Arts.
Living in the South West, I have found an everlasting source of inspiration for my passion of plein air and studio painting. I am most happy whilst striving to capture the beauty and ever changing light of nature, focusing on the tonal contrasts on offer. I have undertaken many commissions, sold paintings online and through galleries. My paintings have sold in Europe, Canada as well as the UK.
